🕯️ Artist Statement

I have always been drawn to the haunting elegance of Gothic horror and the timeless grace of Victorian and Edwardian literature. Those eras understood something profound — that beauty is rarely found in perfection. It lives in the shadows, the storms, the quiet corners of the world where emotion lingers.

Nature has always reflected that truth to me. Every tree, hill, and snowflake is different — shaped by its own journey, marked by its own imperfections. I’ve always found beauty in that individuality. There is only one life, and every person, every flaw, every moment is unrepeatable. That’s what makes it beautiful.

Through my poetry, I try to capture the resilience of the soul, the grace found in imperfection, and the quiet strength that carries us through storms. My work is a reflection of the belief that beauty is not the absence of hardship — it is what remains after hardship has shaped us.
